I've been a fan of Iguana's for 10+ years now and I've been to this location, the one in Santa Clara, and the one in Evergreen. I haven't been to this downtown SJ location in years, but I had it again recently and it's pretty consistent with the Evergreen location that I frequent the most. Usually my go-to is the super burrito with carne asada. The most recent visit here I got the super quesadilla with carne asada. It was delicious and had a good balance of all the ingredients. They raised the prices quite a bit but I think it's still worth coming to, especially because of their orange sauce. Service is good. Restaurant itself is ok, on the dirtier side compared to the other locations. Parking is pretty difficult in this area too.

Great carne asada super burrito! I like the balance of the ingredients (there's not too much rice or beans). I also like the green zilla sauce, it went well with the burrito. I think the orange zilla sauce is okay, it was a little too creamy in an aioli type of way to me, and I personally don't like aioli much. We asked them to grill the burrito so the tortilla would be crispy outside but it wasn't that crispy. I could have done with a lot more brown and crispiness on the outside. The ambiance was chill, the staff is nice and friendly, and there's nice music playing.

I had a random craving of iguana nacho fries after not having it for years! Parking downtown is always a struggle but luckily there's a parking garage nearby with the first 90 minutes free. If you're lucky, there's also street parking nearby. I waited in the car as my sister ran in to order my food. The iguana fries looked a bit sad but they were still pretty good! I wish they added more green sauce. They also gave 2 iguanas sauce!
